The Golden Idol is just in front of Johnny. His fingers are frozen and the tile under his feet starts to crack. A deep canyon below him, sharp rocks are patiently awaiting his ultimate mistake. He remembers how that strange adventure started…
Lama Tchoung Tseng : “Mister Johnny, we require your help, because a monk from our monastery stole all the Golden Bodhisattva Idols and spread them throughout the Himalayas and in deep caverns”
Johnny :”Oh well… send expeditions with Sherpas to find the idols…”
Lama Tchoung Tseng : “We know very well where the Idols are”
Johnny: “What is the problem?“
Lama Tchoung Tseng : “There are lots of mortal traps to protect the idols!”
Johnny : “Hum…, you better call my brother…”
Lama Tchoung Tseng : “We did, but he is too busy with an Ark he lost or something. Furthermore the Idols are protected by logical enigma and we need someone with wits more than muscles!”
Johnny : “Ok, you are right, my brother can’t help you on that issue. I’ll help you….”
Well… that´s how it all began, but Johnny is not an adventurer, he is a college mathematics teacher. Johnny is notable for teaching math by playing logic puzzles. His reputation at creating and solving logic puzzles crosses the seas and now he risks his life to try to recover hundreds of Lost Idols!
Johnny is the hero of the adventure puzzle LOST IDOLS – PUZZLE CRUSADE. Help Johnny solving 100 levels of unique puzzles with increasing difficulty and complexity. To do so, maneuver Johnny through different mazes, each containing a certain number of idols. Johnny must rescue them all to exit and enter the next maze. If Johnny gets stuck, you can always restart the level and try again.

Level Editor (full version only)
The Level Editor will allow you to create your own levels and save them to your hard disk. The interface is simple, so you should be able to learn to create your own Lost Idols levels in a few minutes. To play a self created level you have to start the game. In the level selection you have to manually enter the name of the level file. When saving the just created levels, keep the level names easy (e.g. mylevel01), so there will not be problems remembering the filename to play the level..
Start the Level Editor via Windows ‘Start’ menu. You find the Editor icon in the “Lost Idols - Puzzle Crusade” entry.
After starting you see the level itself on the left side of the Editor screen. The tools and buttons to create, save or delete a level are placed on the right side of the screen.
Buttons
New - create a blank new level.
Load - load an existing level.
Save - save the current level to disk.
Quit - quit the Editor.
On the right from the buttons area you see a field “Viewer”. This field shows the currently active Ground or Object to place in the level on the left side of the screen.
Below “Viewer” field, there are two checkboxes to select the first floor or second floor. The game can take place on two levels that are connected by elevators.
Below these selections are the objects that can be placed in the levels, divided into two main categories: Grounds and Objects. Click on a tab to select the main category.
Objects
Void - delete an object.
Start - place a “Johnny”.
Idol - place an Idol.
End - place an Exit.
You must place at least one “Johnny” and one Exit in a level. You can choose if those objects are visible in the Level Editor, by activating/deactivating the “Visible” checkbox.
Grounds
The Grounds section is divided into three subcategories: Blocks, Elevators, Switches.
Blocks:
Void - delete a floor tile.
Standard - Standard floor tile.
One Walk - breaks when Johnny steps upon and then leaves it.
Time Break - collapses either after Johnny walked three times over it (Difficulty easy) or after Johnny stands on it for a short time (Difficulty normal).
Ice - Johnny cannot stop on slippery ice panels. He will slide until he steps on another floor tile.
Chain 1 to 4 - those tiles will transport Johnny in the given direction.
Elevators:
Void - delete an elevator.
Down - elevator going down.
Up - elevator going up.
Switches:
Void - delete a switch or a snail
Buttons white, red, green, blue, yellow - switches to turn the snails around
Snails white, red, green, blue, yellow - Obstacles that Johnny can remove by stepping on the matching button.
In general: make sure your system has the latest audio and video drivers. Most problems are caused by outdated drivers. If you don't know where to look try
