Game

Somewhere on earth, in the jungle of PeaceVille, peasants worship the Pingoo bird to
ensure a fruitful annual harvest. The peasants do not realize their peaceful village is
about to be in trouble.

The evil Doctor BirdBreath has managed to obtain alien technology and is using it to
create his army of biomechanical mutants, machines and robots for world domination,
starting with PeaceVille.

Can ChipFox and his sidekick robot the MainKid (MK3000) save the peasants of
Peaceville from the evil clutches of Dr BirdBreath ?!

Game controls using the mouse:

Left Mouse Button = Fire weapon
Right Mouse Button = Jump (and Float for MK3000, right click to jump and again to float)
Move mouse pointer to surrounding area of character to move him in the direction the mouse pointer is at.

Game controls using the keyboard

Up Arrow = Point up during Firing
Down Arrow = Point down during Firing or Squat.
Left Arrow = Run Left.
Right Arrow = Run Right.

Enter/Return = Fire weapon
Space = Jump (and Float for MK3000, see above)

Combine Up Arrow and Right Arrow to move diagonally, etc with other keyboard
combinations to get the movements between those direction.

Game controls using the joypad

This is very straightforward, just use the joypad direction navigator and hit button 2 or button 4 for Fire/Jump respectively.

We highly recommend just using the mouse to play (preferably optical mouse) as the game is catered for that.

The right way to play the game.

The orbs/jewels are needed to be filled up (check upper left TV box) and then the chopper bot that carries special items will arrive and your TV box will be emptied. In the first level, the signboard explained how you're supposed to collect the orbs/jewels.

Once the blue chopper bot comes, shoot it, and if you like the items it drops, take it, if not then keep shooting until it changes to what you like, such as the rocket launcher bonus (skullface orb) or the heart shaped health.

This is one of the key 'secret' to the game so if you follow this rule and if you keep doing this, you probably can finish the whole game and blast whatever that comes your way. There's no limit to how much rockets and health you can obtain. There's no time limit in the game, simply a blast fest with some decision making in collecting orbs and shooting chopper bots that drops special items. It's like an RPG style whack enemies and collect 'experience' that sort of thing but this one the reward is stacking up your health and homing missiles/rockets.

The fun part is deciding whether you need more rockets or health. If you have no rockets left, the game gets more difficult because you have no missiles/rockets that homes in on the enemies. Then when you're low on both, have fun deciding which one matters more to you. Weapon changes color for how rapid the laser fires and their damage level.

Plowing through the enemies will do you no good. If you just run through the game and not collect orbs, your chopper drone bot will never come or come not often, and you'll be losing your health and homing missile/rockets very fast, then you're toast.

You are supposed to use a bit of creativity, stay in a place where you're comfortable and keep collecting orbs as you shoot the enemies that come your way and get as much health and homing missiles as possible, then when you think you're ready to move on to the next screen, you go and blast them. If things get too hot just move back to places with less enemies and rebuild health/homing missiles until you're ready to move on and face the boss.

More enemies is a good thing, if you can handle them coming, you can keep collecting orbs/jewels and carefully make decisions when to shoot the blue chopper/bonus bot (shoot at wrong place, you will never get the stuff it drops)

Take it slowly, be patient, stay at blindspots, and there're also spots you can use to help you finish the bosses easier, such as platforms you can jump on, then jump off, and if you can get between the legs of certain bosses, you can finish them and shoot from their crotch between their legs *ouch*.

There's a bit of strategy/thinking to do depending on which character you choose to use for the game.
